Burglar identified on home video seen at gas station by victim two hours later

33-year-old Jake Brown was charged with aggravated burglary after forcibly entering into a home on and taking various belongings. Brown was later found at a nearby gas station wearing the same clothes from the aforementioned incident, per video footage.

On June 17th, officers were dispatched to 400 Glenrose Ave in regards to a burglary. Upon arrival, law enforcement noticed signs of forced entry into the residence as well as an indication that various items had been stolen. Officers proceeded to make contact with Hercinio Garcia, who informed law enforcement of the incident through video of the burglar inside the home. After watching the video, police finished their investigation and vacated the premises.

Nearly two hours after officers left the residence, law enforcement was called once again by Garcia, claiming to have seen the suspect, who was later identified as Jake Brown, at a nearby gas station. Upon arrival at the gas station, officers observed the man wearing the same clothing as the video provided by Garcia.

Jake Brown was arrested and charged for aggravated burglary. His bond was set at $20,000.
