22-year-old Isiah Gonzalez was charged with assault after telling a security guard that he would “kick his ass” and pushed him multiple times at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on Broadway.
On June 17th, Metro Nashville Police arrived at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on 422 Broadway where Isiah Gonzalez was in handcuffs. The security guard said that Gonzalez approached him and said that he would kick his ass. Gonzalez then pushed the guard several times while he restrained Gonzalez in self-defense.
Other security guards helped detain and secure him in custody while waiting for the police to arrive. Police noticed that Gonzalez was highly intoxicated and aggressive, for his and other’s safety they placed him under arrest.
Isiah Gonzalez was arrested and charged with assault and public intoxication. He was freed on a pre-trial release.
