44-year-old Mohammad Bashbsheh was charged with domestic assault after shoving and striking his wife during a dispute about his whereabouts, per report.
On June 20, officers were dispatched to 4852 Everest Dr regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with Nicole Bashbsheh, who informed officers that she observed her husband Mohammad Bashbsheh packing a bag of belongings in order to leave. The woman proceeded to enter the room and ask where he was going. Mohammad failed to answer his wife’s question, to which she responded by becoming verbally aggressive towards the man.
According to the affidavit, Mohammad became upset by his wife’s insults and shoved her in attempts to separate her from the bedroom. The shove resulted in Bashbsheh running into a wall. Once the woman turned to face her husband following the push, she was struck in the face with a closed fist, per report. Law enforcement noticed swelling on the right cheek of Bashbsheh, being consistent with the woman’s statement.
Mohammad Bashbsheh was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $1,500.
