60-year-old Suzanne Crotty was charged with strangling her roommate, Ian Frey, May 26, 2020, after Frey complained about Crotty not cleaning his room for him.
According to the affidavit, officers responded to a call at 4732 Timberhill Dr. Frey told officers that he and Crotty, his landlord, were arguing about Crotty not cleaning Frey’s room for him.
Frey says that Crotty started came at him and started strangling him. Frey told officers he never lost consciousness, and he had never feared for his life while being strangled. Officers noted that Frey did have scratch marks on his neck. Peyton Crotty confirmed Frey’s story.
Suzanne Crotty was arrested and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation. She is currently out on a $15,000 bond.
