34-year-old Kristen Riggin was charged with domestic assault after she scratched the victim’s arms all up as well as punching him in the nose when he told her to leave for making too much noise while she was intoxicated.
On June 9th, David Carhart, the victim, answered the door to the 137 Lakeside Court residence. The officer noticed fresh scratches on his forearm and bruising around them. Carhart said that Kristen Riggin was intoxicated and lying in bed being very noisy which made him angry because his son was asleep in the other room.
She was asked to leave by him and then he pulled the cover off of her. Riggin was enraged and lunged at him, she scratched his arms up and punched him in his nose. He threatened to call the police and she fled. He did not want medical attention or to press charges. The police decided to press charges on his behalf due to the damage to his forearm.
Kristen Riggin was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
