23-year-old Olivia Wolff was charged with implied consent and boating under the influence after drinking “a few” and operating a personal watercraft beyond the designated curfew.

On May 30th, Officer Landrum of the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency halted a personal watercraft that had been out beyond the designated curfew. Landrum noted that the operator of the watercraft, later identified as Olivia Wolff, had a flushed face, slurred speech, and a glassy appearance to her eyes. Landrum could also detect a strong alcoholic scent on Wolff’s person.

The officer questioned how much Wolff had to drink throughout the day, to which she replied that she had “drank a few,” but ceased drinking approximately two hours before. Wolff agreed to a field sobriety test when asked to come aboard Landrum’s vessel. The officer noted that Wolff graded poorly on the tests and was charged with boating under the influence. Landrum proceeded to read the implied consent form for a BUI to Wolff, who denied the opportunity to give blood.

Olivia Wolff was arrested and charged with implied consent and boating under the influence. She was later freed on pre-trial release.
