“Turnaround Guy” drunkenly lodges vehicle into homeowner’s yard

64-year-old Craig Kitch was charged with driving under the influence after his vehicle became stuck in a Bellevue homeowner’s driveway and later confessed to consuming two vodka and tonic drinks before driving.

On June 9th, officers rode alongside emergency transport to 8243 Poplar Creek Rd in regards to a potentially intoxicated driver. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with the homeowner of the address, who informed officers that a vehicle had become stuck in their driveway and attempted to remove itself from the position by accelerating the engine.

According to the affidavit, the driver was noticed to have difficulty walking, presumably due to inebriation. Members of the Nashville Fire Department aided the driver to an ambulance. The man, who was later identified as Craig Kitch, admitted to being involved during the accident as the driver of the vehicle. Kitch was noted to have the scent of alcohol emitting from his person, as well as having a slurred manner of speaking and watery, bloodshot eyes, per report.

Kitch, who advertises himself as a business owner geared towards developing workforces, additionally confessed to consuming two vodka and tonic drinks. Law enforcement proceeded to administer field sobriety tests, to which Kitch observed signs of inebriation throughout. Kitch was advised of the Tennessee implied consent laws and consented to provide a sample of his blood.

Craig Kitch was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
