18-year-old Kionna Clark was charged with aggravated assault after attempting to thrust a 12-inch kitchen knife into a coworker at a Watkins Park Zaxby’s restaurant. Clark later stated to police that, if she were given the chance, she would have stabbed the man.
On June 25th, officers were dispatched to the Zaxby’s located on 1902 Charlotte Ave for an individual reportedly wielding a weapon. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with Donovias Sweatt Jr, who informed officers that himself and coworker Kionna Clark had been involved in a verbal altercation. During the dispute, Clark allegedly took hold of a 12-inch kitchen knife in attempts to stab Sweatt Jr.
The coworker was placed in fear for his life from the attack, per report. An eyewitness account alongside video surveillance confirmed Sweatt Jr’s statement.
