43-year-old Christopher Childs was charged with public intoxication after being found hunched over in a vehicle outside Richland Hills Apartments in West Nashville where he had seemingly urinated on himself, per report.
On July 2nd, Christopher Childs was located in the parking lot of the Richland Hills Apartments located on 5800 Maudina Ave. According to the affidavit, the man was discovered hunched over his vehicle and had seemingly urinated on himself. Officers determined that Childs was “very intoxicated” when the man woke up.
The man reportedly had a slurred manner of speaking and had difficulty standing under his own power, per report. Law enforcement offered to assist Childs with medical services, to which he refused. Childs was additionally offered assistance in finding a place to stay and responded by becoming hostile towards officers. The man was then placed into custody for his own safety.
Christopher Childs was arrested and charged with public intoxication. The charges were later dismissed.
