According to the affidavit, the problem originally started at Keviona’s mother’s house at 3308 Olsen when he showed up and demanded to get his clothes back from her apartment at 2400 Buena Vista. He then took Keviona’s iPhone 7 Plus and refused to return it until he got his clothes back. Keviona stated his clothes were not stolen, Tavion just never came to pick them up.

Keviona then showed up at Tavion’s home at 2715 Whites Creek to confront him about her cell phone. When she arrived, Tavion and his family surrounded her car and Tavion then pulled out a gun and started banging on her driver’s side window and door, which caused a dent in the chrome of the door. Keviona then said Tavion shoved her in the forehead with the gun. Her friend Tamia was a witness to this and made a statement that corroborated Keviona’s story.

Officers noted that when Tavion was asked about the cell phone, his story changed several times and finally admitted to taking it. He was determined to be the primary aggressor and officers determined to prosecute on Keviona’s behalf.

Tavion Adams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, theft, and vandalism. His bond was set at $7,000.
