34-year-old Robair Makary was charged with domestic assault when he pushed and hit his wife during an argument when he told her that he was trying to sleep and did not want to have a conversation with her.
On July 21st, Sylvia Makary spoke to the police who arrived at her apartment located at 5160 Rice Road about a domestic disturbance. She said that she was assaulted by her husband, the defendant, Robair Makary, when he pushed and hit her during an argument.
Robair was interviewed by police and explained that he was lying in bed and was trying to sleep when Sylvia came into the room. He stated that he told her that he did not want to have a conversation due to them arguing earlier. Then he said that he pushed her when she would not stop talking. The police reported that there were no injuries but Robair was placed into custody for admitting to pushing Sylvia.
Robair Makary was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $1,000.
