Dairy King’s owner is hopeful for a buyer to keep the “icon of Woodbine” alive. Jeff and Carolyn Jones announced via Facebook that Dairy King on East Thompson Lane will close operations on August 3rd. The 50-year-old business has suffered since COVID-19 disrupted life in March.

50-year-old Lynette Chandler was charged with possession of marijuana, Xanax, and oxycodone with intent, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and felony possession of a firearm when police conducted a search of her house after they received a drug tip.
37-year-old Lauren Towery was charged with paraphernalia, theft of property, and theft of vehicle when her boyfriend of two weeks told authorities in June that she had stolen his car. She was caught on July 13th and told officers a syringe found on her was used to inject methamphetamine rectally.
20-year-old Aaron Rooks was charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property when his neighbor woke up to find him in her home holding a butcher knife. When he left, she discovered that five of her credit cards were missing.
34-year-old Robair Makary was charged with domestic assault when he pushed and hit his wife during an argument when he told her that he was trying to sleep and did not want to have a conversation with her.
34-year-old Jeremy Moore was charged with domestic assault when a bystander stepped in after he punched his then girlfriend in the face during an argument about him stranding her and her children at a store. The assault occurred back in March.
36-year-old Randi Butler was charged with her third driving under the influence when authorities found her unresponsive behind the wheel of a running vehicle at The Goat. Butler’s social media claims she’s the Chief of Staff for Reagan/Trump advisor Arthur Laffer.
