Xanax, oxycodone, and 102 grams of weed found on a drug tip; arrested almost three years later

50-year-old Lynette Chandler was charged with possession of marijuana, Xanax, and oxycodone with intent, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and felony possession of a firearm when police conducted a search of her house after they received a drug tip.

On November 29th, 2017 Hermitage CSU Detectives knocked on Lynette Chandler’s door because they received a drug tip for 3637 Andrew Jackson Way.

Chandler opened the door and the detectives reported the inside of the residence smelled strongly of marijuana. The detectives gave Chandler a consent to search form after reading her Miranda rights. During the search of the residence, they found 102 grams of marijuana, 10 Xanax pills, 14 oxycodone pills, a digital scale, a marijuana pipe, and a revolver in her room. She told the officers that all the items listed above all belonged to her.

On July 22nd, Lynette Chandler was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, Xanax, and oxycodone with intent, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and felony possession of a firearm Her bond was set at $71,000.

On July 23rd, all of her charges were dismissed.
