Burglar caught on video stealing from his job, then wears stolen item to work

47-year-old Robert Russell was charged with vandalism, theft of property, and burglary after he and two others were observed on video breaking into and stealing items from his job at Millwood Inc. He was later seen at work wearing the shirt he had taken.

On August 11th, authorities showed up to Millwood Inc. in response to a burglary. The manager told police that as he was reviewing footage from over the weekend he noticed three people illegally enter the building and managed to identify Robert Russell.

Russell was an employee of Millwood at the time. Russell and his posse made out with food from the refrigerator, seventeen $25 dollar gift cards, and a black Millwood T-shirt used by maintenance workers. They damaged a desk with a crowbar in the process. Two days later when the police returned, the manager brought attention to the fact that Russell was wearing a black Millwood T-shirt.

On August 13th, Robert Russell was arrested and charged with burglary, vandalism, and theft of property. His bond was set at $16,000.
