19-year-old Latajia Green was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when she went to another woman’s home and pulled a knife on her.
On August 23rd, officers were dispatched to 1408 23rd Avenue North for an aggravated assault. Officers made contact with Sabdreka Claybrooks, who stated that Latajia Green showed up to her house prior to police arriving.
Sabdreka advised officers that as she was walking to the door, Latajia had asked her if she “was ready to go”. As Sabdreka attempted to walk into her door, Latajia ran up on her and began swinging at her. At this point, Sabdreka grabbed her and pulled her inside the home and they began fighting. Sabdreka stated that Latajia pulled a knife out of her pocket and began swinging it at her attempting to stab her. Sabdreka reported that she was able to take the knife away from her hands and Latajia fled the scene. Sabdreka was not cut or injured during the attack.
Latajia Green was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $12,500.
