Homeless woman charged with auto burglary and credit card fraud

39-year-old Bobbie Dolan was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and burglary of a motor vehicle when she entered an unlocked vehicle, put items in her backpack, and used the victim’s credit card at a nearby gas station.

On August 14th, Joseph Haydel reported to Metro Police that his unlocked vehicle had been burglarized outside of his residence located at 7600 Cabot Drive. Staff at the apartment complex witnessed Bobbie Dolan, a known homeless person, get into Haydel’s vehicle and place items into her backpack.

The staff took pictures and video of Dolan during the incident. Haydel reported that his credit card was used within an hour at the Shell Station located at 6931 Charlotte Pike.

On August 27th, Bobbie Dolan was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and burglary of a motor vehicle. Her bond was set at $13,000.
