32-year-old Sharita Dunn was charged with her second DUI when police found her unconscious at the scene of a car accident. She awoke during transport and told officers at the hospital she ingested a pill and passed out while driving.
On August 2nd, Metro Nashville Police arrived at a scene and found Sharita Dunn unconscious but breathing behind the wheel. She was operating the vehicle when it struck a parked car. Nashville Fire Department treated her and transported her to Skyline Medical Center.
While there, she woke up and told police that she had taken a white pill prior to driving. She also stated that she had seen a white light and passed out and had no memory of the accident. Police obtained a signed implied consent form from her for a blood draw and took her into custody after she was released by Skyline.
Sharita Dunn was arrested and charged with her second DUI. Her bond was set at $2,000.
