45-year-old Robert Foriest was charged with reckless endangerment when he fired his revolver toward the sky during an argument with his wife.
On August 23rd, units received an open 911 call with arguing in the background when a female came on the phone crying and saying her husband was drunk and had a gun. When units arrived at 1025 Stainback Avenue they made contact with Aimee Foriest. She advised that she and her husband, Robert Foriest, had gotten into an argument and that he had been drinking.
Aimee stated that before going outside he told her he was going to shoot himself. She then stated that she heard a single gunshot. During this time addition units came in contact with Robert outside near his garage. He admitted to Officer Hemminger that he fired a shot toward the sky. Officer Hemminger recovered the weapon, a Taurus Judge, which had four rounds and one spent casing from inside the residence. A neighbor also reported hearing a gunshot shortly before officers arrived. Robert was placed under arrest and taken to jail without further incident.
Robert Foriest was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
