Man puts out Black & Mild on ex’s face, then rams his child’s mother’s vehicle

37-year-old Richardo Jones was charged with five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of order of protection violation, two counts of conditions of release violation, and vandalism after he put out a Black & Mild and splashed a Gatorade on his ex-girlfriend’s face and then later rammed the vehicle of his child’s mother.

On May 16th, Jessica Glover went into Rollins Market located at 1200 E Old Hickory Blvd. According to Glover, shortly after she entered the store her ex-boyfriend, Richardo Jones, entered. Glover stated as she was standing in line she felt a liquid substance being splashed on her back and when she turned around to investigate she saw Jones standing behind her with a Gatorade. Officers were able to view the security camera footage from the store and Jones is seen entering the store shortly after Glover. Jones first walks up behind Glover and stares for a moment. He proceeded to walk toward the coolers and came back with what appeared to be a blue sports drink and got in line behind Glover. Jones opened the drink and was observed to be making a motion towards Glover’s back and splashing the drink on her. She turned around to discover Jones standing behind her. Glover was holding a child and appeared to be talking to Jones. Glover has an active order of protection against Jones.

On May 16th, just hours after the Gatorade incident, Jones showed up at 1220 Bubbling Well Road while Glover was visiting a friend. Glover stated that her ex-boyfriend began calling her from outside the residence telling her to come outside. Glover stated this continued and she complied out of fear that he would become violent. When Glover stepped outside onto the porch Jones approached her, cursed her out, and put a Black & Mild cigar out on her face.

Glover stated he continued to curse at her until she got the chance to get inside and call the police. Jones left the location after she called the police. Officers observed a small red burn mark under Glover’s left nostril. Jones also has priors and continues to violate his conditions of release and the order of protection against him by continuing to go around Glover.

On August 11th, Maia Dennis, Brooklynn Dennis, and Travis Jones were driving in Maia’s 2019 black Nissan Sentra. The three of them had just left 1505 Meadow Bend Drive and were stopped at the intersection of Sioux Terrence and Canton Pass. At this point, they stated Richardo Jones pulled in front of their stopped vehicle in a black Mazda pickup truck that may have been a rental. Jones proceeded to put his truck in reverse and violently rammed into Maia’s car. Jones took off in an unknown direction. Maia was able to get her car to the nearby Walgreens located at 627 S Gallatin Pike and call the police. Maia and Jones have a child together.

On August 25th, Richardo Jones was arrested and charged with five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of order of protection violation, two counts of violating bond release condition, and vandalism. His bond was set at $300,000.
