28-year-old Jaquez Howse was charged with assault and aggravated assault after punching an O’Charley’s employee in her face causing her to have a black eye, broken nose, suffer a concussion, and require several stitches. He then told another employee “if you call the cops or try to get the license plate, I’ll beat your ass”.

On August 4th, officers responded to O’Charley’s at 5500 Old Hickory Boulevard for reported assault on multiple employees. The officers found Madysen Luzzo, Kalaf Levy, and Kelly Foster. Foster said she didn’t remember the incident because she was knocked out and received a concussion. Levy and Luzzo explained Jaquez and Jasmine Howse had an argument with them and then assault them as well. At this time, Levy went back inside to try to call the police. Jaquez followed his back inside and told him, “if you call the cops or try to get the license plate, I’ll beat your ass.” Levy also told the officers he grabbed his shirt and ripped it, attempting to swing at him several times, but missing.

He and Foster were trying to get them out of the location. Levy told officers once they were outside Jaquez was walking back to his vehicle, but still arguing with him. Foster was attempting to get a photo of Jaquez’s license plate when he swung back and punched Foster in the face which made her fall to the ground. She was knocked out for a few seconds and had a bloody nose. Jaquez and Jasmine took off in their vehicle. Foster was treated at Summit Hospital for a black eye, cut above her right eye that required stitches, broken nose, and a laceration to the back of her head which required stitches.

On August 26th, Jaquez Howse was arrested and charged with assault and aggravated assault with bodily injury. His bond was set at $10,000.
