53-year-old James Mckissack was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he slapped his girlfriend and smacked her with a wooden plank during an argument about her purse.
On August 26th, James Mckissack and his girlfriend Brenda Coffin had gotten into a heated argument over Coffin’s purse. Mckissack then slapped her open-handed in the face. Mckissack then picked up a wooded plank and hit her over the back.
James Mckissack then fled and was later apprehended by Metropolitan Nashville Police Department officers at 10th Avenue and Cheatham Place. Mckissack admitted that he “smacked” Coffin in the face and officers observed the wooden plank used to hit her.
James Mckissack was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $15,000.
Why 15.000 bail? …Ridiculous….
