28-year-old Shelby Toosi was charged with aggravated assault after he strangled, hit, and bit his mother while she was sitting on the toilet, per report.
On August 27th, Shelby Toosi walked into the bathroom where his mother, Halda Toosi, was sitting on the toilet. He initially used a baseball bat to start his beating but switched to strangling her. Shelby also bit her on the forearm and left before police arrived at the home.
Shelby returned to the home after officers arrived, and was taken into custody. Halda did not want to prosecute, but officers prosecuted on her behalf.
Shelby Toosi was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He is jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
