Man uses scissors to threaten well-meaning bystander during argument

46-year-old Edward Condra was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when he threatened to stab a man with a pair of scissors during an argument.

On August 11th, officers arrived at the Exxon at 819 Gallatin Pike because of a call stating there was an aggravated assault in progress. An employee of the gas station noticed a parked car that hadn’t moved in about an hour’s time. Edward Condra was inside and refused to leave when asked despite not having any business there.

Condra and the employee became locked in an argument when a bystander, Jimmy Dupee, overheard the dispute in progress and tried to help by telling Condra to leave. Condra proceeded to threaten Dupee with a pair of scissors. During the investigation of Condra’s car, the scissors were found in the passenger side floorboard of the car.

Edward Condra was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

    A negro (who had nothing to do with this) threatened him and he had scissors in his hand to protect himself from the negro attacker….He should have only received a ticket for loitering but a non-White cop wanted to get even for “fo hundret yeers of opresion” ….
