Meth-ed up man tries to break into cars at Exxon

28-year-old Joshua Miller was charged with public intoxication after admitting to smoking meth and attempting to break into vehicles in the Exxon parking lot.

On August 13th, officers responded to a call at Exxon, located at 2001 8th Avenue South. The call was regarding a male in the parking lot trying car door handles in what seemed like an attempt to break into the vehicles. Officers arrived to find a man who matched the physical and clothing description they were given.

Joshua Miller was displaying extremely erratic and paranoid behavior. He admitted that he had smoked methamphetamine which caused him to act out. Miller refused the medical help that officers offered him. Due to his confession of consuming narcotics, and his abnormal behavior, Miller was taken into custody as he was deemed a danger to himself and others.

Joshua Miller was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $500.
