Pigtailed-perp assaults boyfriend and leaves him in a puddle of blood

21-year-old Lauren Duke-Powers was charged with domestic assault after she pushed her boyfriend and caused him to fall which cut and bloodied his face.

On July 26th, authorities reported to 23Hundred at Berry Hill Apartments, 2300 8th Ave S, in response to a call about a man and woman having a physical fight. Upon arrival, the police found Harrison Matlock and a pool of blood where the violence seemed to have occurred.

When asked, Matlock said that the gash on his nose and blood on his face was due to his girlfriend, Lauren Duke-Powers, assaulting him in the parking lot. Matlock claimed that Lauren pushed him because she believed he had been talking to another female, and shortly after she left with his roommate.

On August 12th, Lauren Duke-Powers was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $2,000.
