Unconscious man found in vehicle containing over 1,100 grams of various drugs

37-year-old Patrick Alexander was charged with possession of 744 grams of marijuana, 161 grams of methamphetamine, 234 grams of heroin, 950 Xanax pills, 42 Oxycodone pills, and 20 grams of an unknown white substance when he was found passed out in his running vehicle on an I-40 off-ramp.

On July 30th, Patrick Alexander was found by police unconscious in his Chevrolet Equinox on the I-40 East ramp onto Central Pike. The police recognized a holstered CZ 9mm handgun and white powder in his lap. The officers recognized Alexander for having multiple felonies out of Davidson County and the vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana about it. Medics administered Narcan which allowed him to slowly regain consciousness, then the police conducted a search of the vehicle.

Inside they found a backpack in the backseat containing 744 grams of weed, 161.2 grams of methamphetamine, 234 grams of heroin, 950 Xanax pills, 42 Oxycodone pills, and 20 grams of an unknown white substance. There were also baggies and a scale with residue on it. There was also $350 in cash found on him.

Patrick Alexander was arrested and charged with felon in possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, three counts of felony drug possession, possession of meth with intent, and possession of a firearm with intent. His bond was set at $75,000.
