Another witness called dispatch and reported they saw Seats jumping on one of the vehicles and breaking the front windshield. Reportedly, he also began kicking the back passenger side door of another vehicle and denting it. When police arrived they noticed Seats, who fit the description, walking in between cars at the dealership.

Seats was detained and placed in the back of the patrol car while the officer conducted an investigation. While Seats was in the back seat, an officer witnessed him spitting on and kicking the windows of the patrol car. Adam Law stated this has been a long-running issue with Seats and that he wished to press charges out of fear that the damage to his property will continue.

Anthony Seats was arrested and charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
