27-year-old Lucaya Williams was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after a Wilson County deputy recognized her as having an active warrant and pulled her over.
On August 19th, Wilson County Sheriff’s Deputy Clawson was on a routine patrol in the Sparta Pike area of Lebanon when he noticed a vehicle being driven by Lucaya Williams who he knew to have an active warrant in Wilson County. Deputy Clawson conducted a traffic stop at the Raceway at 1137 Sparta Pike.
He confirmed the active warrant so he detained Williams and took her to Wilson County Jail. At which point she confessed to having heroin in her groin area. Williams pulled a folded piece of paper from the area which contained 0.5 grams of pink heroin.
Lucaya Williams was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $5,000.
