Woman assaults and points gun at a customer in Knock Out Wings

51-year-old Marie Miller was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when she ripped the shirt off a customer and pointed a pistol at her after a clerk at Knock Out Wings called her.

On May 26th, 2019, Lea Harvell called Metro Police to report someone pointing a pistol at her and physically assaulting her at a Knock Out Wings located at 1300 Jefferson Street. According to Harvell, she got into a verbal altercation with the clerk at Knock Out Wings. She then stated the clerk called someone on the phone and Marie Miller showed up and began to assault her.

Harvell advised police her shirt had been ripped by Miller, who then proceeded to point a pistol at Harvell. On June 7th, 2019, Harvell picked Miller in a photo line up and identified her as the suspect. On June 11th, 2019, the officer conducted a phone interview with a witness that corroborated Harvell’s story.

On August 19th, 2020, Marie Miller was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $35,000.

    Fast food restaurants used to be good when civilized humans frequented to them.
    If you go to Popeye’s late at night and get the last chicken sandwich someone is likely to shoot you for it…. The “clerk” should have been arrested as well….
