Woman caught on I-24 driving a stolen Rav4 from Miami

53-year-old Acebo Odalys was charged with theft of property after being caught on I-24, by LoJack, driving a vehicle stolen out of Miami.

On August 26th, Juvenile Crime Task Force and aviation received a LoJack hit in the area of Brick Church Pike and Interstate 65. The code was run through dispatch and was found to be a Toyota Rav4 stolen out of Miami. The LoJack was monitored by aviation, who managed to locate the vehicle on Interstate-24 East and keep it in sight until units could arrive.

Acebo Odalys (MNPD)

Construction on I-24 slowed the vehicle enough for officers to initiate a stop at I-24 and Bell Road. Acebo Odalys complied with officers and got out of the vehicle. She was taken into custody and the vehicle was confirmed to be the Rav4 stolen out of Miami.

Acebo Odalys was arrested and charged with theft of property. Her bond was set at $25,000.
