57-year-old Rosie Ewing was charged with aggravated assault when she threatened to hit her 81-year-old mother with a chair when she wouldn’t give her money. Then the mother had a neighbor call police because she could not remember the number.
On August 13th, police arrived at the home of 81-year-old Tommie Ewing who said that her daughter, Rosie Ewing, threatened her. She said that Rosie came to the residence to ask her for money.
When Tommie told her that she did not have any money to give her, Rosie argued with her in the kitchen. Rosie picked up a kitchen chair and threatened to hit her with it which placed Tommie in fear for her life. She said that she had to have the neighbor call the police because she could not remember the number. Police then prosecuted on her behalf with an agreement to do so from Tommie.
