30 grams of cocaine and multiple crack pipes found at trap house

67-year-old Ricky Bratten, 71-year-old James Bratten, and 55-year-old Julie Reasoner were charged with felony possession of cocaine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia when officers went to their home to execute a warrant for someone else, and while they were searching the house found a crack pipe in plain sight.

On May 12th, Metro Nashville Police Officers conducted an arrest warrant service attempt for Karen Colorigh at 5011 Rawlings Road. The owner of the residence, James Bratten, was serving a 15-year probation sentence after being arrested for the sale of cocaine at the location in 2015. His brother, Ricky Bratten, lived at the location and also had a conviction for the sale of cocaine. Julie Reasoner was in a dating relationship with James Bratten and had resided at the location for several years. When officers arrived on the scene, Julie gave them verbal consent to search the location for Karen Colorigh. As Officer Woodard searched for Karen he observed a crack pipe lying on a nightstand and a burnt spoon lying next to a burnt piece of a hardwood floor in plain view.

Officer Woodard stated there were several plastic baggies on the floor along with open containers of baking soda. Karen was not found during the search and James Bratten and Julie Reasoner signed consent to search the premises. During the search, approximately 30 grams of cocaine was found inside a plastic container in one of the rooms. Officers also found several burnt metal spoons and a digital scale in the room. In the master bedroom, several crack pipes and chore boy were found. During the search of Julie Reasoner, officers found a crack pipe in her shirt pocket. There had been multiple complaints concerning drug activity at the residence and officers have responded to the location concerning multiple overdoses.

On May 30th, James Bratten was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000.

On June 17th, Julie Reasoner was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $16,000.

On September 14th, Ricky Bratten was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $27,000.
