42-year-old Michael Hunter was charged with aggravated sexual battery after DCS sent his case to CPD regarding allegations of sexual battery made by a juvenile female.
On September 4th, Clarksville Police Department Detective Andrew Henry received a case from a Department of Children Services referral. The referral stated that recently resigned 15-year Davidson County Sherrif’s Office employee, Michael Hunter had possibly been involved in inappropriate sexual touching with an 11-year-old female.
On September 8th, The juvenile female was given a forensic interview at the Child’s Advocacy Center located in Montgomery County. She disclosed that on multiple occasions, Hunter had her touch his bare penis with her hand and then would move it in a massaging motion. Hunter was initially interviewed on September 9th where he denied all allegations. There was a follow-up interview on the 10th where he admitted to having the juvenile female rub his bare penis no more than ten times.
On September 12th, Michael Hunter was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $100,000 bond with conditions.
