27-year-old Tremaine Stem was charged with assault, burglary, vandalism, theft, and harassment after he assaulted two women and damaged property owned by his child’s mother.

On November 25th of 2019, a Metro Nashville Police Officer responded to 2558 25th Avenue North regarding a possible assault. The officer was flagged down in the parking lot by Porshia Crowell, Dominisha Mcbee, and Lela Crowell. Tremaine Stem was not present when police arrived. Dominisha told police she had a verbal argument with Stem on the phone, after which he showed up to Porshia’s residence at 2557 26th Avenue North where Dominisha was hanging out. Porshia told the officer she had recently called her cousin, who came to the apartment. Lela told the officer that when she arrived, Stem forcibly pushed past her into the apartment as she was opening the door. He proceeded to confront Dominisha and Porshia, starting a verbal argument that led Stem to punch Dominisha in the face.

The three women said that Stem fled after threw the punch. The officer observed swelling around Dominisha’s right eye. Porshia told the officer that Stem never had access to her apartment and did not have consent to enter. While the officer was at the scene where the incident took place Stem called Dominisha on the phone and threatened her. She put the phone on speaker and the officer overheard him make the following statements: “You mad you got your ass beat,” Your blood is still on my clothes, ho,” I’m gonna shoot you and your mama,” and “I’m gonna shoot the police too.” Dominisha and the officer both interpreted these statements as threats made against her physical safety. The officer determined Stem unlawfully entered the apartment and was the primary aggressor of the assault.

On April 4th, 2020, Metro Nashville Police Officer James Wray was dispatched to the Best Western hotel located at 2401 Brick Church Pike. When the officer arrived he made contact with Tiana Anderson. She explained she had rented a room yesterday to spend some personal time with her two children. Tiana also told police she invited Tremaine Stem over for the evening to spend some time with his daughter. The next morning, on the 4th, when she woke up and was getting her children ready to go, she told Stem he had to leave. An argument started when Stem asked for a ride to his friend’s house. Tiana refused and he shoved her. They continued arguing down to the lobby and Stem shoved her again, grabbing her keys. Stem threw the keys to the ground with force, causing them to break, and then fled the scene. The incident in the lobby was witnessed by the front desk clerk, Violeta Lopez.

On June 8th, Tiana Anderson was spending the night at Tremaine Stem’s mother’s house located at 621 Dew Street with her children. She told police she was having difficulty breathing, but did not become unconscious. Police observed visible red marks on Tiana’s neck. After the incident, she was able to leave the residence with her two children. Stem followed them on foot and threw one of Tiana’s phones at her vehicle causing it to break.

On July 22nd, police were in the area of 141 Lafayette Street when Tiana Anderson approached them stating that she had an argument with her ex-boyfriend Tremaine Stem when she tried to drop her child off at his Grandmother’s house. When the altercation escalated Tiana took off running towards her car. She said as she was running to her car to lock herself inside her phone fell from her pocket. Tremaine Stem picked it up, pocketed it, and walked away. She stated she tried following him in her vehicle, but lost him on the interstate.

On September 9th, 2020, Tremaine Stem was arrested and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation, domestic assault, simple assault, burglary, theft, harassment, and two counts of vandalism. His bond was set at $45,000.
