Man caught stuffing ‘ready rock’ into his pants on Jefferson Street

59-year-old Henry Jones was charged with driving on revoked, paraphernalia, and felony drug offense after he was seen driving while officers knew he did not have a valid license.

On September 22nd, Metro Nashville Police saw Henry Jones on Jefferson Street and 28th Avenue. Having previous knowledge that Jones had a revoked license, authorities conducted a traffic stop. Jones was seen trying to stuff his pants to hide something. When questioned, he told police that it was “ready rock,” which they knew meant crack cocaine.

When asked to step outside the vehicle, Jones reached into his underwear and pulled out a dollar bill containing a blue rock consistent with crack cocaine. A search of the vehicle yielded a digital scale that Jones admitted belonged to him.

Henry Jones was arrested and charged with driving on revoked. His bond was set at $10,000.
