Man charged after lover accuses him of beating her, stealing her phone and being schizophrenic

28-year-old Gregory Wilson was charged with vandalism, domestic assault, and theft of property after his girlfriend told officers he was a paranoid schizophrenic and had beat her before breaking her television and stealing her phone.

On July 26th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched to 2400 Buena Vista Pike in reference to a possible domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with Tiffany Green who advised that she and Gregory Wilson had been in an intimate relationship for approximately four months. Tiffany reported that Gregory was at her residence the day prior and they were involved in a physical altercation.

She stated that Gregory is a paranoid schizophrenic and that he hears voices. She further reported that he struck her multiple times, grabbed her by the hair, and threw her on the ground several times causing injury to her right leg. When she left the residence Gregory broke her living room television and stole her cell phone. There were messages from him admitting to both the theft and vandalism.

On September 1st, Gregory Wilson was arrested and charged with domestic assault, vandalism, and theft of property. His bond was set at $7,000.
