37-year old Roland Dial III was charged with rape of a child after the MNPD Domestic Violence Division took the statement of a 14-year-old child who said he raped her 20-30 times over a 5-year span, beginning when she was 9-years-old.
On September 5th, a Metro Nashville Police Officer interviewed a 14-year-old child at the Metro Nashville Police Department Domestic Violence Division located at 600 Murfreesboro Pike.
The victim disclosed to the officer that she had been raped by Roland Dial III 20-30 times since she was 9. The occurrences included penile/vaginal penetration and took place at his residence. This abuse took place over the course of 5 years and the child is now 14 years of age.
Roland Dial III was arrested and charged with five counts of rape of a child. He is currently being jailed in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
