Then Jahmal walked up the stairs and flipped the kitchen table before grabbing a knife. Justin stated that he began to pace around the kitchen with the knife in his hand and made threats against him and their grandparents. Officer Sheppard spoke with Mr. and Mrs. Polk, who explained they had woken up shortly after the altercation started. They told police they entered the living room to find out what was going on when they witnessed Jahmal acting erratically. They advised they were present when Jahmal flipped the table and began threatening he would “kill anyone who gets in his way.” Justin informed that when he called police Jahmal fled the scene.
