51-year-old Michael Putnam was charged with two counts of harassment after making vile remarks towards a man, woman, and their children in their own yard.
On June 27th, James Hearn and his wife May Nillasca were outside their home at 3211 Meade Avenue when Michael Putnam was walking his dog in front of their residence. Putnam had previously threatened to burn them and their home. This day, however, Putnam made a comment to Hearn about “killing your Gook wife” and a threat to rape Hearn’s child. Putnam told Nillasca to go back to the Philippines during his lashing out.
Prior reports of Putnam include comments on Hearn’s church Facebook page such as “You even wanted to try and suck the little boy off” under a picture of Hearn’s son. A second comment under a video of Hearn’s daughter read “This is the little girl you had a fetish for. Your own daughter.” Putman gave a direct threat through Instagram messages saying, “Your that bitch wanting to fuck men and women and not telling your wife (closet bitch)!”
On August 27th, Michael Putnam was arrested and charged with two counts of harassment. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
