18-year-old Joyceonna Goodner was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after fighting with her father over her missing blunt, which resulted in her hitting him with a metal rod.

On September 6th, Metro Nashville Police arrived at 1250 W. H. Davis Drive in response to a domestic disturbance. They made contact with Joyceonna’s father, Angelo Green, at the scene. He explained to them that Goodner had woken up upset that morning because she thought he had taken her blunt. An argument broke out between the two, which resulted in Goodner deciding to go outside and break the back window of her father’s apartment.

Green then went upstairs and threw her hair gel out of the window. When Goodner went outside to retrieve the gel, her father followed her out and they continued arguing about her blunt. While arguing, Goodner picked up a metal rod and struck her father across the face with it. This caused a cut above the left side of his lip. Goodner was not around when officers arrived, but was found shortly thereafter and taken into custody.

Joyceonna Goodner was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
