40-year-old Demetria Stuart was charged with vandalism when she flipped tables and smashed her ex-roommate’s window with a brick at Bartaco after she saw him there with another female.
On September 13th, an officer arrived for a possible fight at Bartaco located at 12th Avenue South and found Jahmad Merrimon standing next to his car with a shattered window. He told the officer that Demetria Stuart showed up and started flipping tables when she found out that he was there with another female.
He stated they used to be former roommates. After flipping tables, he said Stuart went outside and threw a brick through his rear window. Merrimon then told police where to find her because she was not present at the scene when the police arrived. They found her on Cranapple Cove and placed her into custody.
Demetria Stuart was arrested and charged with vandalism. Her bond was set at $1,000.
