Intoxicated man caught by MTA asleep near Music City Central

41-year-old Jackie Seymore was charged with public intoxication after he was reported unresponsive on a bench in front of Bay 15 near Music City Central by Metro Transit Authority.

On October 5th, Metro Nashville Police officers were working near Music City Central located at 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when they were approached by Metro Transit Authority (MTA) to inform them about an unresponsive man laying on a bench in front of Bay 15.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Jackie Seymore who was observed to be highly intoxicated. Seymore had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person, bloodshot and watery eyes, and was unable to walk on his own. Officers determined Seymore to be a danger to himself and others, so they took him into custody.

Jackie Seymore was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was freed on a $500 bond and his case was dismissed on October 5th.
