33-year-old Charquis Scales was charged with aggravated robbery after holding a butcher knife to the left side of her boyfriend’s head after hearing rumors that he was texting another woman.
On August 15th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched to 1800 Nassau St. for a domestic call. The police made contact with Andrew Christian, who stated Charquis Scales called a few times before arriving at his residence.
Charquis Scales heard a rumor Andrew Christian was text messaging another woman. After she arrived at his residence, she saw Andrew sitting on his porch and immediately started to yell at him over his phone. Andrew ignored Charquis so she put him into a headlock and held a butcher knife to the left side of his head and neck. She then took his phone and fled the scene before officers arrived. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
On October 15, Charquis Scales was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. She was released on a $40,000 bond.
