42-year-old Charles Hurd was charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend reported to police that he punched her several times in the face during a disagreement in her apartment.
On October 14th, Metro Nashville Police Officers had a walk-in at the Madison Precinct at 400 Myatt Drive in regards to a domestic disturbance. Shalonda McClendon claimed that while she was at her apartment with her boyfriend, Charles Hurd, they got into an argument.
During the disagreement, Hurd punched her several times in the face. Shalonda fled the apartment and drove to the Madison Precinct. Police noted she had a noticeable injury to her upper lip.
Charles Hurd was arrested and charged with domestic assault causing bodily injury. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
