27-year-old Brandon Bagley was charged with domestic assault after he grabbed his ex-girlfriend by the shirt and scratched her neck when she answered his phone and wouldn’t give it back to him.
On September 29th, Metro Nashville Officer Beery was dispatched to 808 South 6th Street for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Lafreada Harris, who stated her ex-boyfriend had attacked her after she answered his phone and it was his current girlfriend.
When she answered the phone, Harris advised police Bagley attempted to snatch the phone from her hand and grabbed her shirt dragging her into the middle of the living room. During this process, he scratched her neck. Officers observed a small scratch on her neck that was still bleeding and a few scabs.
According to officers, Harris was not very cooperative and was screaming at them saying she just wanted Bagley to go to jail. Bagley advised police there was a verbal altercation and he tried to get his phone back, but he never put his hands on her.
Brandon Bagley was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $2,000.
