Man kicks out patrol car window after stealing wires from AT&T vehicle

29-year-old Radell Watkins was charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct after he was caught stealing wires from an AT&T vehicle in a Walmart parking lot and then kicked out the back window of a police vehicle.

On October 8th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to an individual jumping on top of cars in the parking lot of a Walmart located at 3458 Dickerson Pike.

Upon arrival, officers observed Radell Watkins on top of the AT&T vehicle grabbing wires. The police were able to detain Radell and get him inside of their patrol car. Radell proceeded to kick and bust out the back window of the patrol car. He also caused damages to the door of the vehicle during this process. The estimated value of the total damages caused was $500.

On October 10th, Radell Watkins was arrested and charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
