Man recklessly fires gun in attempt to intimidate female out of vehicle

23-year-old Donta Holt was charged with reckless endangerment after firing off a round into the ground in front of him to intimidate someone into exiting his vehicle.

On September 27th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched to Knollcrest Apartments at 3301 Creekwood Drive in reference to a domestic dispute. When police arrived both parties involved were present. Kiea Hughes stated she got into a verbal argument with Donta Holt in his vehicle.

Hughes advised police during the argument Holt retrieved a firearm and exited the vehicle and discharged one round. Holt admitted to firing off one round into the grass directly in front of him. He stated he was attempting to intimidate Kiea. Police recovered two semi-automatic handguns in a backpack where Holt said they were located.

Donta Holt was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and his bond was set at $1,000.
