33-year-old Randarius Hines was charged with aggravated assault after he shoved his husband’s head through a wall, strangled him, and told him “I’m going to kill you” because their fellow churchgoers said that he was dancing on Facebook Live.

On October 26th, Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to Southern Hills Hospital where Tonell Holcombe advised that his husband, Randarius Hines, had attempted to strangle him. Tonell stated that Randarius came into the bedroom and woke him up saying that people from church told him that he was dancing live on Facebook. When Tonell told him to leave he replied with “I’m going to kill you and that’s going to be my reason to go to jail”.

Randarius then put one hand on Tonell’s stomach and the other on his neck and pushed him through the wall causing his head to go through. He pulled Tonell out of the wall, body-slammed him, got on top of him, and pinned him down with both knees on his chest and both hands around his neck. When he told him he could not breathe Randarius stated “That’s because I’m going to kill you”. Eventually, Tonell was able to contact a family member and left. Tonell had bruising on his neck and a hoarse voice.

Randarius Hines was arrested and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation. He was released on a $40,000 bond.
