Man threatens to stab woman and cut her head off in a Wendy’s parking lot

47-year-old Toriando Mason was charged with assault when he threatened a woman and her daughter in a Wendy’s parking lot stating, “I’m going to cut your head off” while police officers were present.

On October 6th, Metro Nashville Police Officers Wood and Hollinsworth responded to McDonald’s located at 801 Vantage Way Court in reference to someone refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival, officers observed Toriando Mason and Lashaunta Beach arguing in front of Wendy’s.

Police spoke with the parties involved and Beach stated Mason attempted to hug her daughter and would not leave her alone. While police were speaking with both parties, Mason said “I’m going to cut your head off.” Mason also stated he would go to Beach’s house and stab her. These threats were made in the presence of Officer Wood and Officer Hollinsworth. Two knives were recovered from Mason’s person and they were in his possession when he made threats toward Beach and her daughter.

Toriando Mason was arrested and charged with assault causing fear of bodily injury. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
