20-year-old Amaya Eason was charged with domestic assault after telling her father she would “shoot him with his own gun” in front of the police.
On October 24th, Metro Nashville Police Officers were dispatched to 855 Bradford Avenue. Once they arrived, officers could hear screaming coming from the inside of the residence. Amaya Eason, the daughter of Evan Eason, stated she would “shoot him with his own gun” in front of the officers.
Evan explained he had to remove all firearms out of his home, fearing she would kill him. Amaya kept approaching her father in an aggressive manner, yelling, screaming, and throwing things. Amaya was taken into custody due to her making threats to her father.
Amaya Eason was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later freed on pretrial release.
